*Advanced Practice Provider - Neurology (Epilepsy)*

*Position Overview*

*Banner - University Medical Group* is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Neurology-Epilepsy team in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This APP will collaborate with epileptologists, neurosurgeons, and a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive epilepsy care, including managing patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and outpatient clinics.

Key Responsibilities: * Conduct neurological exams, evaluate seizure disorders, and develop treatment plans.
* Manage inpatient EMU admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning.
* Provide outpatient follow-up care, medication management, and patient education.
* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and assist in coordinating advanced epilepsy treatments.
* Maintain thorough documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Required: * Graduate of an accredited NP program with national certification.
* Eligible for Arizona licensure with prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
* BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
Preferred: * Experience in neurology, epilepsy, or EEG interpretation.
* Knowledge of advanced epilepsy treatments (EMU, neuromodulation, epilepsy surgery).
